When Comic Con returned to Wellgate Shopping Centre, Hozah was right there with it, making sure fans arriving for the weekend didn’t get stuck in parking chaos. Our ANPR tech, barrier-free setup, and plain-English instructions all played their part. But the real magic? Hozah created a marketing competition, complete with bold Comic Con-themed creatives, designed to attract Comic Con goers to Wellgate’s car park, and one lucky attendee won a full year of free parking.

Autopay lets drivers register once online and have their stay billed automatically after they leave, no app, no tickets. If a driver would rather pay for a single visit, on-site signage points to a quick web link. Season tickets and partner permits are handled digitally, so there are no plastic passes to manage.

In the days leading up to the event, Wellgate’s channels carried short, plain-language posts with the essentials: when Comic Con runs, where to park, and how payment works. 

This approach keeps lanes moving, reduces intercom calls and last-minute confusion. For site owners and local businesses, that means calmer peaks, fewer complaints, and less admin tied to lost tickets or manual overrides.
