Hozah is pleased to announce a new partnership with Overgate Shopping Centre, one of Scotland’s premier retail destinations, located in Dundee – the UK’s first UNESCO City of Design.
Located in the heart of Dundee city centre, Overgate is home to over 60 stores and eateries, including Primark, Next, H&M, JD, Boots, and Five Guys, and welcomes shoppers from across Tayside and beyond. With 1,000 parking spaces across three car parks, Overgate is one of the busiest retail parking estates in the region, making it a natural fit for Hozah’s fully automated payment and enforcement technology.
A Seamless Parking Experience for Overgate Shoppers
Through the new partnership, Hozah has introduced its integrated parking payment and enforcement platform across Overgate’s car parks, replacing manual ticketing and outdated payment processes with a connected, end-to-end system.
The new system provides:
- Flexible payment options: allowing drivers to pay by cash, card, AutoPay or through a one-off digital payment;
- Accurate and consistent enforcement: helping to reduce errors and unnecessary appeals; and
- Real-time reporting and reconciliation: giving Overgate’s management team clearer visibility over parking performance.
The rollout reflects a broader shift across UK retail destinations, where centre managers are increasingly turning to smart parking technology to reduce operational overhead, improve compliance, and unlock parking as a genuine revenue opportunity rather than a cost centre.

A Launch With a Community Commitment
The new system isn’t just about smarter parking technology; it’s also about giving back to the local community.
As part of the partnership, Hozah will donate 1% of its AutoPay revenue at Overgate to Help for Kids for a full year.
Help for Kids is a Dundee and Perth-based children’s charity that supports young people who are vulnerable or disadvantaged due to social, economic, health or disability-related circumstances, funding individuals, families, clubs and organisations across the region.

Launch Support and a Free Year of Parking Up for Grabs
The new system went live at Overgate on Wednesday 16 September 2026. Hozah’s team was on site until Thursday 17 September to help drivers register for AutoPay and answer questions about the new payment options.
Looking Ahead
To celebrate the launch, Hozah is giving one lucky driver the chance to win a full year of free parking at Overgate.
Anyone who registers for Hozah AutoPay and parks at the centre before 30 October 2026 will automatically be entered into the prize draw. The winner will be selected in November 2026.
The partnership with Overgate adds to Hozah’s growing portfolio of retail and urban mobility clients across the UK, as the company continues to expand its footprint in the shopping centre sector following recent recognition in the Deloitte UK Technology Fast 50.
